Gatsby Foundation partners with impact agency Jack & Grace for education campaign
The Gatsby Charitable Foundation, a foundation set-up by former Science Minister and philanthropist Lord David Sainsbury, has appointed certified B Corp comms agency, Jack & Grace, to deliver a multi-year campaign to raise awareness and understanding of T-levels among engineering and manufacturing employers in England.
Working with four national sector bodies and a range of intermediaries, the campaign aims to increase the number of engineering and manufacturing SMEs who host T-level students on industry placements as a way of bringing more young talent into the sector.
Michelle Rea, Director of Communications at the Gatsby Charitable Foundation said: “T-levels offer employers a fantastic pipeline to high-calibre young talent. These are industry-focused qualifications designed with employers that ensure both business and young people are getting the most out of our skills system.
“At the heart of this brief is partnership, so working closely with the trusted voices of our strategic partners will be key. We’ve brought Jack & Grace on board to help us bring T-levels to life for the engineering and manufacturing sector through inspiring storytelling and a mix of channels and tactics. They have been excellent so far and we’re looking forward to working with them on this important project.”
Rebecca McLeod, Director at Jack & Grace, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with the brilliant team at the Gatsby Charitable Foundation. The success of this project will hinge on connecting with an audience of engineering and manufacturing SMEs who are as diverse as they are numerous. It’s a brief that needs a laser approach to deliver impact, not noise, which is just how we love to work.”
